TWMRC Club Meetings

The Texas Western Model Railroad Club meets every Thursday and Saturday night at 7:30 except for holidays.

The first Thursday of every month is the club Business Meeting.  Visitors are welcome.

The first Saturday following the Business Meeting is a "work night".  Visitors are welcome.

The Thursday after the Business Meeting is "Run Night".  Visitors are welcome.  If you have a DCC equipped locomotive, it can be run on the layout on Run Night.  No other rolling stock standards are enforced on Run Night except good conduct.  Metal wheels are preferred.   Kadee or Kadee compatible couplers required.

The second Saturday after the Business Meeting is "Operations Night".  Visitors by invitation only please on Operations Nights.

We are currently seeking new members whose interest is railroad "operations".  We are: an HO scale DCC controlled model railroad.  We run a 3:1 fast clock, and we are using "ShipIt!" as the control program. If this sounds like your cup of tea, please come by on a Thursday or Saturday night and check us out.  You will be glad you did.

February Business Meeting

Soft drinks, water, and snacks are available, with a menu and costs posted.

The Texas Western Model Railroad Club does not allow smoking in the club building.  Alcoholic beverages and illegal drugs are strictly forbidden.

Foul or abusive language or behavior will not be tolerated.  Guests or members exhibiting these traits will be escorted to the door and requested to not return.
