TWMRC Activities Page
TWMRC engages in several "activities" throughout the year. This includes trips to visit operating tourist railroads, authorized visits to prototype railroads, visits to live steam railroads, etc.
The TWMRC promotes camaraderie, fellowship, and family values. Several activities each year are designed to involve family members. We normally have the following sorts of "local" activities:
- Family Night, normally on a Saturday in late September or October, (when it cools down outside), is a night to eat, play games, and run trains for the entire family.
- Traveling to active railroads (tourist and real)
near and far. Again, these are intended as "family" affairs, or a trip to
try and "hook" that buddy, son, cousin, or father on the joys of railroading.
